Jana ‘Babez’ Terblanche is a South African performance artist.
Nightfall was an intervention where Babez highlighted the experience of women traversing public spaces; the ingrained fear, the coping mechanisms that must be developed, the scrutiny that women are subject to.
I accompanied her during preparation and build up, as well as some of the aftermath.
